I have experience in software engineering with a demonstrated history of working with B2B solutions, along with complicated financial products. I'm very interested in the applications of technology to finance, and health. I've also built a large array of technical knowledge due to my background in mechanical engineering, and software engineering work experience. I have further built on this experience in various hackathons, and internships. In my past internship, I achieved best technical solution under the RBC Amplify program, I won McGill TechAccel Grant for StudyBuddy, and have placed in the top 3 at numerous hackathons.
We created a web application that solves two problems for students. Primarily, it allows students to stay connected with their friends while studying from home through online schooling, and secondly, provides a tool that will analyze their study habits to improve their productivity.
Github RepoPairs trading is a strategy for hedging of risk, which involves matching of the short position with the long position in two underlying securities with a high positive correlation. This offseting of the long and short position is the basis for hedging, and provides profits even with market neutrality. This project analyzes potentially successful trading pairs by leveraging the python backtrader module.
Github RepoConscious Consumer is a Chrome Extension that suggests local and sustainable shopping alternatives to customers. Built during McHacks9! Overall, we placed 3rd out of 94 teams (342 participants), and 1st in the Ivey School of Business Challenge! The front-end was built with React.js and Bootstrap. The back-end was built with Python, Flask and CockroachDB.
Github RepoThrough my final two years in mechanical engineering, system control has become a passion of mine. To complement my in class learning, I decided to expand my skills further by building a self-balancing table. The goal of this table is to balance any ball thrown upon it. This project is currently in progress, and will be built using PID Control, Arduino, Python, and Computer Vision.
